PARKING
The Captain Lou has a private parking lot located directly across the street from the boat dock. Parking is completely FREE! There is also Free Street parking as well as a Free Municipal Lot.

WEATHER
Our vessels sail rain or shine. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine all year long. Both boats are capable of being enclosed, both on the top deck dance floor, and bottom floor cabin.

ACCESSIBILITY
Both the Capt Lou VII & Starstream VIII are wheelchair-friendly.* (*Please note, depending upon tides at time of boarding and disembarkation, wheelchair assistance may be provided by Capt Lou crew.) Please notify us of any special-assistance needs prior to cruises so we may provide appropriate assistance upon arrival.

BOARDING What time can we board the boat?
Guests may board boat 15 min. prior to departure time. Hosts may board an hour to an hour and a half prior to departure for cruise set up, depending on scheduled cruise time & or boat schedule.

CANCELLATIONS What is your cancellation policy?
There are no refunds. All Sales are final. We sail year round, rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or should the vessel experience mechanical difficulties, the Captain shall be the final arbiter as to whether the vessel shall leave the dock. If this should occur, based upon the schedule of the vessel, another reservation date will be selected that is mutually agreed to by the parties-prior payment to be credited to a rebooked trip.

CHILDREN Are Children allowed to on the boat?
Fishing: Children of any age are welcome on any fishing trip accompanied by an adult. Children under age 3 are Free.

Cruises: Age all depends on the “type of party” please discuss with your sales associate at time of booking.

Midnight Cruises: 12:30am-4am * Everyone must be 25 years and older!

CRUISE ROUTE Where do your boats sail to?
Fishing: We Fish in the Bay or the Ocean depending on the day/weather/type of trip.

Cruises: We sail from Freeport’s Nautical Mile along the coast of Mansion Harbor. Passengers will view the exclusive waterfront homes and sights of Baldwin, Oceanside, Point Lookout, Long Beach, Lido Beach, and Island Park.

SMOKING Is Smoking allowed on the boat?
Smoking is permitted on the outside of the boat, as long as you are not under any type of “awning”

RESTROOMS
There are both men and women’s restrooms on each boat. We provide clean and comfortable accommodations for all.

SIZE OF VESSELS How big are your vessels and how many people can they hold?
The Captain Lou VII is 85 feet long and the Starstream VIII is 100 feet long. Both of our vessels can accommodate up to 150 people
max.

TABLES How many tables are on each boat?
The Capt Lou VII has 14 Tables & The Starstream VIII has 11 tables both have galleys where food can be served.

ENTERTAINMENT
If you are supplying your own DJ, the DJ must bring all of his own equipment including a table if he needs one! We do provide DJ’s, Clowns, Magicians and much more, at an additional cost.

SERVICE Do you supply Bartenders and Servers?
We supply Bartenders and Servers at an additional cost. You must supply a bartender if you are supplying your own alcohol!

CLEAN-UP
The Captain Lou Crew is responsible to keep the boats clean at all times. After party cruises, CLF Crew is responsible for clean-up.

LOST & FOUND
The Captain Lou Fleet is NOT responsible for any item left behind by a customer. There are some cases where items will be left in the office the next day otherwise items left behind usually get tossed away. Please make sure to take all your belonging when exiting the boat.
