We would first to wish everyone Happy New Years. Sundays offshore Fishing Trip brought much surprise to Captain Scott and the Crew of the Captain Lou VII. In addition to the abundance of sea bass, ling, the 12 jumbo pollack there were 85 Keeper Codfish Caught on this trip as well.. The most cod brought to Freeport in probably the last 18 years.. Fishing was action packed and great to see them beautiful Codfish make their way back into the waters.. There are still some space available for the next 3 trips. So please call up and get on the list.

The Capt Lou Fleet has been sailing by reservation only for black fish most days it can. This past weekend made it out both trips with a number of fares and put some blackfish on the boat. Some anglers Sunday had some beautiful fish to 11 lbs with an average of 4-5 keepers per man and some anglers hitting their limits. We will continue to sail on a reservation only basis so please call and come on down..
